Spotify is taking its love for live music to the next level. The company has added a new feature that allows users to follow their favorite concert venues directly in the app. Whether you are using the free or premium version of Spotify, you can now track venue events just like you follow your favorite artists or playlists.
After following a venue, Spotify will show a regularly updated list of upcoming concerts and live performances in the venue in the coming weeks. The feature integrates Spotify Live Events Feed, which is updated every day to help fans not miss a new announcement. Unlike the existing “Concerts Near You” feature, this new addition is venue-centric to provide a more dynamic and local live music experience.
Spotify has also added the feature “Suggested Venues” to help users find new places, especially in cities where live music is popular. Spotify does not make it difficult to discover live music, as it has more than 20,000 venues worldwide. When users find a concert they want to attend, they can easily tap to official ticketing partners to complete their purchase, making the process easier and more convenient.

Spotify Expands Its Features for Music Lovers
The update is part of the continuous effort of Spotify to improve its platform by adding features to enhance user experience. Recently, the streaming giant enhanced its free service and allowed users to select specific tracks rather than using the shuffle mode only.
Spotify also made another major improvement in the form of lossless audio streaming, up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC, in select markets. To activate the feature, go to Settings > Media Quality and choose Lossless.
Spotify will automatically change the streaming quality according to the connection strength, but the user can choose the desired streaming quality for both Wi-Fi and mobile connections.
