Nargisi Koftay Recipe – One of the most famous meat dishes is Nargisi Koftay. Nargisi Koftay is a type of food prepared with filled boil eggs surrounded by mince meat. Despite its exotic name, the dish is rarely cooked, but its preparation is relatively simple.

The sautéed hard-boiled eggs are wrapped in a meatball and cooked in sauce. First, all of the ingredients are combined with minced meat and texture, and then the koftas are fried and kept inside. create a viscous paste with all of the ingredients listed in the hot oil to create the gravy. While serving the koftas, mix them into the sauce. The recipe tastes best when served with bread or chapaati.

  2. Beef minced 1/2kg
  3. Eggs hard boiled 3
  4. Gram grind 1tsp
  5. poppy seeds (grind)1tsp
  6. Green chillies 4,5(chopped)
  7. green coriander 1/2bunch(chopped)
  8. Onion 1small(chopped)
  9. Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  10. Garam masala pwd 1tsp
  11. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Egg 1 for fry
  14. Oil for fry 1/2cup
  15. For Gravy
  16. Onions 4(finely sliced)
  17. Ginger garlic paste 4tbsp
  18. Red chilli pwd 2tsp
  19. Tumreric pwd 1/2tsp
  20. Coriander pwd 4tbsp
  21. Gram masala pwd 1tsp
  22. mace & nutmeg pwd 1/2tsp
  23. Yogurt 1/2cup
  24. Oil 1cup
  25. Salt to taste
  27. Tomato 1
  28. Green chillies 2,3


  • 1. Koftay
  • 2. Mix all ingredients in mince,dived mixture into 3 part,
  • 3. cover boiled eggs with mince make smooth oval shape ,
  • 4. dip in beated egg and fry in oil .
  • 5. Let it cool put in freezer for 15 mins then with a sharp knife cut koftay vertically into 2 parts.keep aside.
  • 6.Gravy
  • 7.Heat oil fry onions till golden brown put out from oil and spread on paper and grind.
  • 8.add ginger garlic paste in oil fry it add red chilli pwd,salt,turmeric,coriender pwd
  • 9. Fry it properly add yogurt and grind onion nutmeg & mace pwd
  • 10. Cook till gravi become thick .
  • 11. Now put all Koftay in gravi let it warm on lower flame for 5mins,pour gravi in serving dish and keep all koftay on the gravi garnish with tomatoes and green chillies.
  • 12. Serve hot with naan or chapati.
