Ingredients

  1. Boneless Chicken – 1/2 kg
    Medium chopped onions – 2
    Mint Leaves – 1/2 cup
    Corriander Leaves – 1 cup
    Green Chillies – 3 pieces
    Youghurt – 1 1/2 cup
    Chopped Ginger – 1 tbsp
    Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 1/2 tsp
    Salt – to taste
    Cream – 2 tbsp
    Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
    Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
    Black Pepper – 1 tsp
    Hot Coal – For Dum
    Oil – 3/4 cup

Method

  • 1) Fry onions in the oil, once they turn golden brown take them out from the oil.
  • 2) In a blender, blend the onion, mint, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger ( jullien ) and youghurt to make a paste.
  • 3) In the remaining oil, add ginger garlic paste and fry the chicken with salt.
  • 4) Cook the chicken until colour becomes light brown.
  • 5) Then add cumin, black pepper and garam masala powder.
  • 6) Then add the green paste and let it cook.
  • 7) Once the oil seperates from the chicken, add cream in it amd put it on dum for 2 minutes.
  • 8) Put the heated coal in the chicken and cover it with lid.
  • 9) Serve hot with Naan.
