Reshmi Tikka Recipe By Shireen Anwar – Reshmi Tikka is a delicious and tasty Pakistani dish. It’s prepared with mincemeat, cream, yogurt, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, green chili, lemon juice, and a variety of Desi spices. It is a full meal that can be prepared for both lunch and dinner. It goes well with chutney or ketchup.

Ingredients

  1. • Chicken boneless 1 kg
  2. • Yogurt 250 gm
  3. • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  4. • Cream ½ cup
  5. • Oil ½ cup
  6. • Salt 1 tsp
  7. • Chaat Masala 1 tsp
  8. • All spice 1 tsp
  9. • Meat tenderizer 1 tbsp
  10. • Coriander seeds crushed 1 tbsp
  11. • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  12. • Crushed red pepper 2 tsp
  13. • Green chili paste 2 tbsp
  14. • Lemon juice 4 tbsp

Method

  • Cut chicken into pieces, marinate with 250 gm yogurt, 1 tbsp meat tenderizer, 1 tbsp crushed cumin seeds, 1 tbsp crushed coriander seeds, 2 tsp crushed red pepper, 2 tbsp green chili paste, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp all spice, ½ cup cream and 4 tbsp lemon juice. Keep aside for 1 hour.Heat ½ cup oil in pan, add marinated chicken pieces and cook over low flame for 20 minutes.Now turn the flame high and fry well till water dries.Dish it out, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and sprinkled with 1 tsp chaat Masala.
