Recently released LEGO Fortnite mode has quickly become more popular than Fortnite’s main Battle Royale offering. Since its debut on December 7th, LEGO Fortnite has attracted over 2 million daily players, peaking at nearly 2.5 million over its launch weekend.
This dwarfs the player count for Battle Royale. On average, Battle Royale sees around 1 million daily players currently – half that of LEGO Fortnite. The all-time peak for Battle Royale stands at 3.1 million, but LEGO Fortnite is already on pace to eclipse that.
LEGO Fortnite is a separate survival crafting experience incorporated into Fortnite, allowing players to collect, build, and explore using LEGO bricks.
Its emphasis is more on collaboration than competition. This formula has proven hugely successful so far based on the player figures.

The mode is the first released under a partnership between Epic Games and LEGO intended to create a family-friendly metaverse.
If these early popularity metrics are anything to go by, the collaboration seems poised for even greater success when more experiences are launched under the partnership.
For now, LEGO Fortnite reigns supreme over all other Fortnite modes. Its continued growth could see it cement itself as the quintessential Fortnite experience for the next generation of players.
