Luckily, Windows makes it incredibly simple to find your serial number, and it does not require an overturned laptop or a BIOS inquiry. It can be immediately viewed with the help of Command Prompt command.
How to Check Your Windows 11 Serial Number Using Command Prompt
Follow these steps to find your serial number takes less than a minute.
Open Command Prompt
Click the search bar next to the Start menu and type cmd.
Run it as Administrator
Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
Enter the Serial Number Command
In the Command Prompt window, type the following and press Enter:
wmic bios get serialnumberYou will see your serial number appear below the SerialNumber field.
Alternative Command
If the above command does not work on your device, use this command
wmic csproduct get identifyingnumber
This displays your PC’s identifying number, which works similarly to a serial number.
