Apple Inc. is reportedly developing its own AI tools to rival OpenAIās ChatGPT and Googleās Bard. This development signifies that Appleās CEO Tim Cookis prepared to challenge these two tech behemoths who have so far led the AI race.
The new AI tool, internally referred to as āAjaxā, is being used by Apple to construct large language models akin to ChatGPT and Bard. In addition, the tech giant is also testing a chatbot named āApple GPTā. This news has had a positive impact on the companyās financial standing, propelling Appleās stock prices to an all-time high.
Appleās foray into AI isnāt entirely new. The company has previously integrated AI into products such as Siri and Apple Photos. However, the introduction of a new virtual assistant that can summarize text and answer questions, much like Googleās Bard and OpenAIās ChatGPT, marks a significant advancement in Appleās AI capabilities.
