YouTube has officially launched its premium services YouTube Premium and YouTube Music in Pakistan. These paid memberships offer an enhanced viewing and listening experience, free from advertisements, with the added convenience of offline and background play.
YouTube Premium priced from Rs. 479, allows subscribers to download videos directly to their devices for offline viewing. The subscription also includes access to YouTube Music, a dedicated music streaming app that consolidates all YouTube music content in one place. Users can also save music to their local storage for offline listening.
In addition to individual subscriptions, YouTube offers a Premium Family Plan starting at Rs. 899. This plan enables users to share their Premium membership with up to five other members. For those interested solely in the music service, YouTube Music Premium is available separately for Rs. 299, with a family plan option starting at Rs. 479.
For students enrolled in higher education institutions where YouTube student discounts are applicable, there are special plans available. The Premium Student Plan is priced at Rs. 329, while the Music Premium Student Plan is available for Rs. 149. To qualify students must be attending a SheerID-approved institution. First-time buyers of YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium can avail of a special introductory offer of one month free. The YouTube Music app is available for download on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.
