Spotify has officially released Spotify Wrapped 2025, a day after Apple published its Apple Music Replay. This year’s Wrapped is the platform’s most interactive and personalized version, providing users with new experiences of listening to and reliving the sounds and moments that created their 2025.
According to Spotify, the 2025 release will be more engaging, multi-layered, and revealing than ever before, with returning favorite elements and several highly requested additions.
What’s new in Spotify Wrapped 2025
With the common features, such as minutes listened, most popular artists, songs, genres, podcasts, and messages by artists, Spotify has added multiple new layers of personalization:
- Music Taste Comparison
Compare your listening habits with users in your age group. - Top Album Rankings
A detailed look at the albums you streamed most throughout the year. - Top Songs Quiz
An interactive quiz to test how well you remember your own listening history. - Fan Leaderboard
See where you rank among fans of your favorite artists. - Listening Archive
Personalized snapshots highlighting your most memorable streaming days. - Top Artist Sprint
A new month-by-month chart showing how your top five artists shifted throughout 2025.
Spotify has also been aggressively expanding social features this year, including the option to send messages and share tracks with friends.
How to Access Spotify Wrapped 2025
Spotify confirms that users must meet a minimum listening activity to get their Wrapped.
- Stream at least 30 songs for more than 30 seconds each
- Listen to at least five different artists
- Streams in Private Mode or not a part of the Taste Profile will not count
Wrapped is available for both free and Premium users.
To view Wrapped
- Update your Spotify app.
- Open the app.
- Look for the Wrapped 2025 banner at the top of the Home screen.
- Or search for “2025 Wrapped” in Spotify’s search bar.

Creators, like artists, songwriters, and podcasters, will also get their own Wrapped analytics, showing how listeners engaged with their content in 2025.
Global celebrations and pop-up events
Spotify is celebrating the launch with around 50 pop-up experiences worldwide.
Major cities include
- Manchester – Oasis
- Seoul – Jennie
- Mexico City – Bad Bunny
These activations highlight Spotify’s ongoing effort to deepen fan-artist connections with real-world events.
