The Punjab Boards Council of Chairmen (PBCC) has set the dates for all academic boards in Punjab to start their matric and inter-annual exams.
According to sources, 10th class exams will start on May 10, and 9th class exams will begin on May 26. The deadline for submitting admission forms with the standard cost for matriculation exams was March 22.
The 11th class intermediate exam will start on June 18, while the intermediate 12th class exams will begin on July 4. The deadline for submitting admission forms with the standard price for inter examinations is March 31.
Whereas the PBCC has enabled academic boards to create their schedule for matriculation and intermediate examinations, all academic boards are expected to begin matriculation and intermediate exams on the schedule set by the PBCC.
The Punjab Education Department Ministry has decided to eliminate additional matric and inter-exams.
Annual examinations will be held twice a year rather than supplementary examinations. The first annual examinations will occur as scheduled, whereas the second annual examinations will occur once the matriculation and intermediate results are announced.
