Indian Superstar Says Babar Azam is Bound to Become a Legend

Azam, Pakistan’s all-format captain, has shown himself to be one of the best batters of this generation. There is a lot of debate about whether Fab 4 or Fab 5 are better known.

In the most recent series against Australia, Babar had a standout performance. Cricket legend Harbhajan Singh has praised his match-winning abilities and predicted that he would be one of the game’s greatest players in the future.

In an interview, Harbhajan said he had no idea who the “Fab Four” of cricket was, but Babar’s talent and performance have led to speculation that he might be one of them.

Nevertheless, it is still too early to classify him among the elite. So let him keep up the good work and help his team win more games. Harbhajan said, “And he’s no less talented than anyone else,” he added.

They are often called the “Fab Four” because of their ability to win matches and score consistently across all game formats — from one-day to one-day internationals and from one-day to one-day internationals.

Babar Azam led Pakistan to their first ODI series win in 20 years against Australia, breaking the ODI and Test records of legends like Hashim Amla and Mohammad Yousaf.

ICC recently rated Babar Azam’s 196 in the 2nd Test against Australia as one of the best batsman performances in the 2021–2023 ICC Cricket world Test Championship.

Babar has been the top ODI batter in the ICC rankings since April 2021 and the top T20I batter since November 2021, a position he previously held in 2018. Additionally, he ranks as Test cricket’s best batsman and the fifth-best all-time.
