At CES 2026, a handbag grabbed attention due to a combination of luxury craftsmanship and innovative display technology features. Infinity is a French leather purse with an in-built OLED screen, designed by Richard Peuty, turning an ordinary accessory into a customizable, animated statement piece.
Infinity has a starting cost of around $8,000 for early Kickstarter buyers, but the Atelier Edition is over $9,000, highlighting exclusivity over affordability. Every bag is hand-made in France with full-grain leather, with a focus on durability and repairability. The OLED screen is designed to change the look of the bag with time, letting trends change digitally while the physical handbag remains timeless.
Infinity appears to be a classic high-end leather bag at first sight. The OLED screen is placed behind a textured protective surface imitating leather, framed by clean stitching and minimal metal hardware. This design ensures the technology complements rather than shows the bag’s aesthetic.

Users can control the animated panel via the Infinity app, updating visuals wirelessly over Bluetooth Low Energy. The bag supports six or eight hours of continuous display time and is wirelessly charged so that no ports or cables are visible. The tech remains hidden until activated, allowing the craftsmanship to remain the main attraction.
While admittedly luxurious, Infinity is designed for luxury customers who want a unique conversation starter. For those already investing in premium handbags, it offers a unique combination of exclusivity, innovation, and wearable technology, which exceeds the traditional fashion bag.
