Casio has officially launched a dedicated virtual experience on Roblox, introducing its rugged G-SHOCK brand to the platform’s massive global audience. The activation includes a custom-built skateboarding game alongside a line of digital watch wearables modeled after two of the company’s most recognizable designs.
The move is part of Casio’s ongoing “Virtual G-SHOCK” initiative, which was launched to find new ways to engage younger consumers in digital-first spaces. The brand is using interactive content on Roblox to bring its classic design language to over 150 million daily active users.
The launch center is a custom game called “Challenge the Skate Obby: G-SHOCK“. In typical Roblox fashion, the game is an obstacle course (“obby”) where players navigate a skateboard through various physics-based hazards. The level designs are directly inspired by the actual physical stress and drop tests that real-world G-SHOCK watches undergo during manufacturing.

To complement the game, Casio has released 12 digital watch items in the Roblox Avatar Shop. These include virtual recreations of the square-faced DW-5600 and the octagonal GA-2100, affectionately known among watch enthusiasts as the “CasiOak”. Each watch model comes in six colorways.
In the “Challenge the Skate Obby” game, providing the digital watches will unlock unique visual effects for your avatar. Casio has also offered G-SHOCK-branded clothing items for virtual purchase, including caps, backpacks, and t-shirts.
Limited-edition virtual items can be collected by completing the course within specific time limits during the activation runs through August 2, 2026. Casio confirmed that it will add more watch models, colorways, and new courses to the virtual space.
