How to Use the Zakat Calculator
First, enter your cash and savings. This can include cash at home, bank balance, savings, EasyPaisa, JazzCash and foreign currency converted into Pakistani Rupees.
Next, enter the current value of your gold and silver. You can also add gold or silver jewellery, coins and bars. Use the current market value instead of the price you paid for them.
If you have a business, add your business cash, stock, money owed by customers, bank balance and other relevant business assets.
You can also add your investments, such as stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, savings certificates and cryptocurrency.
If someone owes you money and you expect to receive it, you can add it in the receivables section. This includes personal loans, customer payments, pending salary and other amounts you expect to receive.
Finally, enter your payable debts and bills, such as loans, credit card payments, rent, taxes, salaries and supplier payments.
After entering all the information, the calculator shows your net wealth and estimated Zakat at 2.5%.
