PEC Punjab Examination Commission has announced the dates and times for the 2022 annual exams for the Punjab School Education Department.
According to the Punjab Education Commission (PEC), the following timetable is being published for the District Education Authorities to conduct School-Based Assessment (SBA) for Grades 1 to 8.
| Provision of Item Bank through IBS | 25 April 2022 |
| Conduct of SBA for Grades I -VIII | 09 May – 20 May 2022 |
| Issuance of Report Cards by Schools | Before 31st May 2022 |
According to the timetable mentioned earlier, annual examinations for Punjab government school students in grades 1 through 8 will begin on May 9, 2022. The end of the annual examinations will occur on May 20, 2022. Students will receive their grades or report cards by May 31, 2022.
The first day of summer vacation will be June 1, 2022, while the first day of the new school year will be August 1, 2022. Principals of Punjab’s schools will distribute the date sheet for the 2022 Punjab School Annual Exams. The Holy Quran will be assessed for 50 Nazra for classes 1-5 and translation for classes 6-8.
