You will need an Emirates ID for many government processes, such as registering an Ejari if renting a villa or apartment in Dubai. Here is how you can check:
- Go to the ID Card Status page on the ICP website.
- To check your status, enter your PRAN (application number) or IDN number in the slot and click ‘check’ on the home page.
Your Emirates ID application form has the PRAN number – the actual Emirates ID card number is the IDN number.
Once you’ve entered your details and clicked the arrow, the website will show you much of your application status. This information includes the application type being used, your application number, ID number, current status, and what else should be done.
Pending means that your application is still in progress. By approved, we mean your card is ready to be printed. On the other hand, it means you can collect the issued status. In the case of rejection, further actions to be taken with resolution or reapplication of the application status would be outlined. This is the method of going to the Emirates ID status check online.
Application Log History
Through the feature on-screen ‘Application History Log,’ users can view a complete Emirates ID application timeline. This includes:
- Application submission date
- Application sent for printing date
- Data verification date
- Card printing date
- The date the card was dispatched to the post office to be shipped.
