- Open the Instagram app.
- Tap the Home icon.
- Tap on Your story.
- Swipe down and select the picture.
- Tap on the expand icon. (This option appears only for horizontal images.)
- Tap on the screen to regenerate or press to see the original version.
- Tap Done.
- Tap Your story to post the expanded photo.
