Ukrainian developer FLEXUS has announced an upcoming multiplayer game called Dear Passengers, which puts you and your friends in charge of a failing airline. The game is expected to arrive on Steam in 2026 and has already gained traction for its high-energy and disaster-filled co-op survival mode.
The goal of Dear Passengers is simple but almost impossible: deliver your cargo and passengers to their destination without getting damaged. One player is the pilot, and the rest of the crew is responsible for the cabin. This includes serving food, recovering stolen goods, and handling mechanical problems before the plane crashes.
The game features “physics-based” mechanics that are more than a visual effect. During the flight, the turbulence and air pockets can physically toss bags, food, and even flight crew around the cabin. If things get too out of hand, players might even find themselves climbing onto the exterior of the plane to repair engines or fight off airborne threats.
The official announcement trailer has already gained significant attention across social media, showcasing the game’s slapstick humor and intense team coordination.
FLEXUS is leaning into the “friendslop” genre, which features colorful, humorous, and chaotic multiplayer experiences. Much like other viral hits in this space, Dear Passengers thrives on the comedy that comes from failed communication and unpredictable physics.
Every flight starts with players choosing their cargo and passengers, with higher rewards for high-risk missions designed to go wrong.
As the 2026 release date approaches, gaming communities are keeping a close watch on the title’s official Steam page. With its unique blend of time management and slapstick survival, it is positioning itself as a must-play for friends looking for their next chaotic gaming challenge.
