Apple Music Set to Officially Launch in Pakistan Soon

Apple Music is preparing to launch officially in Pakistan, with local subscription plans now appearing on iOS devices for the first time. The service has been available on Android in the country for years, but iPhone users never had a proper, region-supported option until now.

Users in Pakistan can now subscribe and complete payments for the service, with Pakistan-specific subscription plans showing up in the app. This is being treated as strong evidence that a full rollout is close, even though Apple hasn’t made anything public yet.

The pricing spotted so far puts the individual plan at Rs. 379 per month, while a family plan comes in at Rs. 649 per month. Both plans reportedly include a one-month free trial before the subscription starts renewing automatically.

This rollout has been spotted during Apple’s ongoing iOS 27 beta cycle, suggesting the company may be preparing to bring the service live alongside that software update, rather than as a separate announcement.

There’s a second piece to this story too. Sources have said that Apple Pay may also be coming to Pakistan, though this part remains unofficial. So far, successful payment evidence has reportedly been confirmed specifically for PayPak cards, with other card types expected to follow.

Apple has reportedly added PayPak support into the code itself, which is being read as a sign that the launch isn’t far off.

For years, Pakistani iPhone users had to rely on workarounds like VPNs or region-switching just to access Apple Music, something Android users never had to deal with since the app worked there from early on. That gap looks like it’s finally closing.

Apple has not issued any separate public statement specifically confirming a Pakistan launch. But the fact that payments and subscriptions are already going through for local users is being taken as confirmation that the system itself is now functional, not just something visible without actually working.

The timing lines up with a broader update to Apple Music globally. iOS 27 is also expected to bring a redesigned AutoMix feature, landscape mode support, and updated artist pages, changes that apply everywhere, not just in Pakistan.

For now, iPhone users in the country can check the Music app directly to see if the local plans are showing up on their device.
