The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has recently announced its admission schedule for the fall 2023 session. The first phase of admissions will commence on July 15, while the second phase will begin on September 1.
In an effort to make the admission process more accessible, AIOU’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, has approved the creation of information counters, facilitation centers, and prospectus sale sites across the country. These initiatives are designed to provide assistance to students in their local areas and ensure that no child is left out of school.
Dr. Nasir Mahmood has also provided guidelines to regional leaders on how to guide students effectively through the admission process. He has urged regional heads, tutors, and resource people to actively participate in the admission drive.
How to apply?
For those interested in applying, AIOU has streamlined the application process. Candidates can submit their admission application forms online, eliminating the need to send printed forms to the institution.
To apply, candidates must visit the official AIOU website and follow the instructions for the online application. After registering with an email ID, applicants must fill out the admission form in its entirety. The form requires the selection of a program, uploading of all education-related documents, a CNIC, and recent photos. Once completed, the application and the filled Challan Form must be submitted to the bank.
As the only Open University in Asia, AIOU provides a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in various academic fields. It boasts a larger student population than any other university in Pakistan, reflecting its commitment to providing quality education to all.
