7-Eleven Celebrates 96th Birthday with Free Slurpee Giveaway

7-Eleven, the popular convenience store chain, is celebrating its 96th birthday by giving away free Slurpees to customers. This unusual celebration allows customers to receive a gift on the company’s birthday, a rare occurrence indeed.

The giveaway took place on Tuesday, July 11, across all 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores. The offer was not limited to reward members only, making it accessible to all customers. However, those who were part of the 7Rewards or Speedy Reward loyalty programs enjoyed additional perks. These members had the opportunity to claim an extra free small Slurpee drink from July 1 through July 10, allowing them to enjoy their free Slurpee ahead of the main event.

This decision to extend the free Slurpee days was a direct response to feedback from fans, as stated by Marissa Jarratt, 7-Eleven Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer. In her statement, Jarratt expressed gratitude to the loyal Slurpee fans and announced that the company was offering more ways to redeem free Slurpee drinks and food deals in celebration of their 96th birthday.

The Slurpee Day celebration was part of the company’s summer-long ‘Anything Flows’ campaign. Customers were invited to join in the celebration and enjoy their favorite frozen drink for free. Whether customers preferred classic flavors like Cherry and Coca-Cola or limited-edition flavors like Sprite Lymonade Legacy, there was a wide range of flavor options available on this special Slurpee Day.

7-Eleven’s 96th birthday celebration offered a unique opportunity for customers to enjoy free Slurpees, demonstrating the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and appreciation.
