Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah has spoken out strongly against the ‘forced’ closing of private schools in the state. In an attempt to correct the problem, the education department issued a circular.
Private schools, according to the ministry, shall continue to operate their educational facilities without interruption. He stressed that the education administration will remove the registration of any private school that remains closed without justification.
Shah went on to state that both private and public schools in the province must adhere to government regulations. In a similar event, the Sindh administration said that the scheduled matriculation exams would not be postponed despite the ongoing statewide turmoil.
As a result, the secondary school exams were completed on time. The secretary and controller of examinations of the Board of Secondary Education also visited various examination centers to oversee the process.
