Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has broken new ground by announcing that free sacrificial goats will be distributed among orphan children and individuals whose guardians have become victims of robbery. Eidul Adha, which is expected to fall on June 17 in Pakistan, has prompted this move.
Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori on the occasion of his visit to the welfare trust office in Sohrab Goth announced giving two camels as ijtamai qurbani. Addressing reporters, Tessori pointed out that goats will be distributed from the Governor’s House only for “orphans and victims of robbery.
The goats are to be distributed three days ahead of Eid and 100 camels are to be slaughtered during the festivities. Its meat will be sent to the other poor and the orphans.

The beneficiaries under this evening would be whisked with free goats since their breadwinners have been either killed by armed robbers or left orphaned.
