Shab E Barat Ke Roze

Fasting is not a requirement on Shab-e-Barat and is completely voluntary. According to specific sources, fasting throughout Ramadan was a favorite of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In some Hadees, there is indirect evidence of Shab e Barat ke Roze.

“Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa Radiallahu Anha Farmati Hai Rasool Allah ﷺ Shabaan Se Zyada Kisi Mahine Me Roza Naa Rakha Karte Balki Pura Shabaan hi Roza Rakh Liya karte the Aur farmaya Karte Apni Istitaat Kay mutabik Amal karo ki Allah Us wakt Apna Fazl Nahi rokhta Jab Tak tum Uqta naa jao”

There is just one weak hadeeth concerning fasting on Sha’baan 15th. Fasting on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of each month, however, is Sunnah. Every Islamic month, fasting is advocated on the 13th, 14th, and 15th. Fasting is not required on Shab-e-Barat and will be voluntary, according to experts. “Shaban is my month,” stated the Holy Prophet (SAW). Shaban purges the sins.” As a result, fasting on Shab e Barat is not prohibited.
