Content that you submit to Facebook shows on your Timeline, but many of the images and posts on your Timeline are contributed by other people. When a friend tags you in a post or photo, the story could show up on your Timeline before you’ve had a chance to read it.
These articles might contain postings that have nothing to do with you or disgraceful images that you would never share yourself. You may or may not be able to delete the postings entirely from Facebook, but you can simply delete them from your personal page.
How to Remove Posts From Your Facebook Page
- Log in to Facebook and go to your Timeline.
- Scroll to the article or photo you want to delete and hover your cursor over it.
- To open a drop-down menu, click the pencil symbol on the right side of the post.
- Click “Hide From Timeline” to hide the post or image from your page.
