The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has issued a public notice regarding the upcoming admissions for the 2023-24 academic session in all public medical and dental colleges in Punjab. The admissions are set to open in October, with an official advertisement expected to be released early in the month.
UHS has advised prospective students to prepare their necessary documents in advance to avoid any complications during the online application process. The university has made it clear that all documents mentioned in the notice are mandatory, and admission forms submitted without them will not be accepted.
Among the required documents, applicants must have a domicile in Punjab province. The university will not accept any other document, such as CNIC, B Form, or birth certificate, in place of a domicile certificate. However, applicants with an Islamabad domicile can apply for admission on open merit seats. Domicile is not mandatory for overseas and dual nationals.
Applicants are also required to get their matriculation and FSC pre-medical result cards attested by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC). Those with A-level, IB, or any other foreign certificates must obtain an equivalence certificate from the IBCC.
Photograph and Signature
To prove their identity during the application process, applicants must hold a CNIC, NICOP, Form B, or passport. They are also required to upload a recent photograph with a white background and sign with a blue pen on white paper, imposing their right thumb on it. This paper will then be uploaded along with the application form.
The UHS has warned that applications will be rejected if false documents are submitted or if applicants fail to upload the necessary documents. As such, students are urged to ensure the accuracy and completeness of their documentation to secure their admission in the upcoming academic session.
