Emirates ID cards for Pakistani citizens can be made available by visiting the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security-ICP or at an authorized typing center. The ICP may require applicants to attend in person at one of the ICP service points to provide their biometric information.

- Valid passport
- Permit for a residence permit, residence origin under renewal process, or a valid residence permit for those who did not receive an identity card when the residence permit was issued.
- Personal photos with a white background for every age group.

As of June 2024, the pricing structure for getting a new Emirates ID card in the UAE for Pakistani residents is as follows:
- AED 100: Card issuance fee for five years
- AED 150: Service fee
- AED 30: Typing Center fee
- AED 150: Urgent service fee for applications processed at customer happiness centers
