An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 rattled parts of Central Turkey on Tuesday, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The quake was recorded at a depth of 12 kilometers and sent shockwaves through the region, causing widespread panic among residents.
This seismic event comes just over five months after a catastrophic earthquake that claimed thousands of lives in the country, leaving the populace living in a state of constant fear and apprehension.
The tremors from this recent quake have only served to exacerbate these fears, reminding the people of the devastating loss they experienced not too long ago.
