The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has released the schedule for the HEC Law Admission Test (LAT) in 2024, marking the start of the process for prospective law students.
Registration and Test Overview
For admission to the five-year undergraduate LLB Degree Program at HEC/PBC-recognized institutions and associated institutes, candidates must first register for the HEC Law Admission Test 2024. The test is expected to be conducted on May 26, 2024, in several places throughout the country, and the deadline for applications is May 08, 2024.
Who Can Apply
For the HEC Law Admission Test LAT 2024, candidates must have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or its equivalent.
You can also apply if you are a student who is waiting for your HSSC or another final exam results.
Application Process
The HEC website is a place where applicants can submit their applications. To apply, you must first go to the portal’s menu and find the “Law Admission Test” link. Once you have completed your profile in the “My Profile” section, you can submit it. Your application will not be taken into consideration if it is saved or is incomplete.
Test Fee and Payment Method
Many different payment methods are available for Rs. 1800 test fee for the HEC Law Admission Test LAT, including 1Link 1Bill invoices from participating banks, ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, and Upaisa.
If candidates want to pay their bills via invoice, they will need to use their mobile banking app, enter the consumer number that the ETC portal, and then pay.
The ETC Dashboard is where candidates can check their online payment after they have deposited the fee.
Important Reminders
- Any communication related to the examination date, time, and venue will be sent by email or text message, thus you must provide email addresses or mobile phone numbers when you apply.
- To get their Roll Number Slips, candidates need to visit http://etc.hec.gov.pk one week before the exam.
