Dubai Announces Free Parking for Eid Al-Fitr

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced free parking for all cars during the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holidays, which will last four to five days.

The free parking time will begin on Thursday, April 20, and will go through Sunday or Monday, depending on the sighting of the moon.

This deal, however, excludes multi-level parking facilities. In addition, the RTA has announced various service changes.

In addition, the RTA has announced the operation hours for the Metro Red and Green Line stations, the Dubai Tram, public buses, and inter-city buses during the Eid holiday.

The Metro Red and Green Line stations will be open from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. the following day from Thursday through Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Sunday.

The Dubai Tram will run from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. from Thursday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Sunday. Public buses will run from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., and metro feeder bus stations will run in synchronization with the first and last metro trips.

However, intercity bus lines will operate on a regular schedule over the holiday season.
