Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has publicized the winter vacation dates for all private schools and colleges in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
As per the notification, the winter holidays will start on December 25 and end on December 29, 2023.
All private educational institutions (PEIs) in Islamabad will stop operations from December 25 and remain closed till December 29. They will resume educational activities in the first week of January 2024 after the winter break.
Earlier, the Sindh and Punjab governments had announced winter vacations for schools and colleges falling under their jurisdiction. Per the provincial notifications, holidays will start on December 18 and end on January 1 in Punjab. In Sindh, students will enjoy winter breaks from December 22 till December 31.
Compared to the other provinces, Islamabad educational institutions will have shorter winter holidays limited to December 25-29. The city’s public and private schools will open earlier in the first week of the new year 2024.
