Punjab’s education boards have announced the schedule for Intermediate exams in 2026, providing students with a clear window to plan their final preparation.
BISE Punjab has announced that Intermediate Part II (Class 12) annual exams will start on May 5, 2026. Intermediate Part I (Class 11) exams will start on May 24, 2026.
Officials say the dates were finalized according to the provincial academic calendar so that the exams could run smoothly and results could be announced on time. Keeping the schedule on track is key for university admissions and the higher education timeframe.
According to the common practice, the same dates will apply to all Punjab boards. This means that students under BISE Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Sahiwal will all sit their exams on the same schedule.
Punjab boards confirm Intermediate dates after the Matric exam calendar, allowing enough time for logistics like exam centers and staff deployment. The roll number slips, detailed date sheets, and center information are expected to be released closer to the exams.
Students are advised to continue their preparation and keep checking official board websites for important updates.
