The UAE fuel price committee has announced a reduction in petrol and diesel prices for the month of December 2023. This decision comes as part of the committee’s commitment to adjust fuel prices in accordance with the fluctuations in the global market.
Starting from December 1, 2023, consumers will see a noticeable decrease in fuel costs at the pumps.
- Super 98 petrol will now cost Dh2.96 per liter.
- Special 95 petrol will also see a price drop from Dh2.92 to Dh2.85 per liter.
- For those using E-Plus 91 petrol, the new rate is set at Dh2.77 per liter, down from Dh2.85.
- Diesel users can also breathe a sigh of relief as the price per liter has been reduced from Dh3.42 to Dh3.19.
The announcement also provided a recap of the petrol prices throughout the year. The prices have seen various changes, with January starting at Dh2.78 for Super 98 and reaching a peak in October at Dh3.44. The latest adjustment marks a significant decrease from the year’s highest rates, offering some respite to vehicle owners.
