This way, you will not be notified of any stories your friends upload on the app. Here are the procedures for getting it.

Open the Snapchat app.
Click on your Bitmoji avatar.
Now, click on the setting icon (gear icon).
Go to Notifications and choose Frind Stories.
Here, untick Stories from friends, Private Stories from friends, and Stories from contacts.

You can avoid being notified of stories published within your circle on Snapchat.

Turn Off Snapchat for Individual Friends

Probably, you do not want to lock down all stories, but from your friend who puts up a new Snapchat story every hour complaining about this or that in their life. Open the Snapchat app.
Go to the Chats screen.
Here, long press the chat of the person you want to disable story notifications of his/her story.

Mute Story Notifications from Android Settings

Many of this method’s features are available only for Android systems. You can turn off all Snapchat story alerts using the notification categories of the Android device.
