Tawa Mutton Recipe By Shireen Anwar – It’s a unique delight for true meat connoisseurs. The primary characteristic of this tawa mutton is that it is cooked on a conventional tawa. (flat pan). Initially, the beef is boiled in 2 cups of water with ginger garlic paste and minced scallions until tender. Tawa Mutton is seasoned with chilli powder, all spices, and green chiles and cooked for a few minutes for its customary taste and flavour. Tawa Mutton is topped with chopped ginger and coriander fronds. This recipe goes well with Naan, Paratha, or Chapatti. Tawa Mutton is distinguished by its preparation method. This recipe is suitable for Eid ul Adha lunch and supper parties.

  1. • Mutton ½ kg
  2. • Onion 1
  3. • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  4. • Water 2 cups
  5. • Tomatoes 2
  6. • Oil ½ cup
  7. • Chili powder 2 tsp
  8. • Alls spice ¾ tsp
  9. • Green chilies 3
  10. • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp


  • In a pan put mutton, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, salt and 2 cups of water, boil till mutton tender, heat oil on a tawa, add boiled mutton with chili powder, fry for 5 minutes lastly add all spice powder, chopped green chilies and coriander leaves, serve with nan.
