Punjab announces holidays for Eid ul Adha 2023

LAHORE – The Punjab government announced Eid ul Adha holidays from June 28 to July 1 on Friday.

The provincial government has also issued a notification in this regard.

The announcement states that offices having a 5-day workweek will be closed from June 28 to June 30 in celebration of Eid.

Similarly, for organizations that operate on a 6-day workweek, the holidays will be from June 28 to July 1.

The federal government has previously set a calendar of holidays for different kinds of offices.

Institutions having a six-day workweek were initially allowed a four-day holiday from June 28 to July 1st to honor Eid al-Adha.

Offices with a five-day workweek, on the other hand, have three days off to commemorate the event.
