PTA SMS Codes List: Here’s how you can check regisration status

On Thursday, the PTA issued new consumer service shortcodes to help mobile users block unwanted messages and secure their devices.

Mobile users in Pakistan can now use shortcodes from PTA to handle their device permissions and stop spam messages. The codes give mobile users specific tools to manage unwanted messages and vital services through their devices.

PTA SMS Short Codes

Here are the shortcodes:

  • Block Spam and Unsolicited Messages: Send an SMS to 9000 to stop receiving spam messages.
  • Block Telemarketing Communications: Send an SMS to 3627 to block telemarketing communications.
  • Check 15-Digit IMEI Number: Dial #06# to display your device’s unique 15-digit IMEI number.
  • Check Mobile Device Registration Status: Send an SMS to 8484 to verify your device’s registration status.
  • Check Mobile Number Portability (MNP): Send an SMS to 667 to check if your mobile number has moved to another telecom network.
  • Check Total Registered SIMs on Your CNIC: Send an SMS to 668 to see all SIM cards attached to your National Identity Card number (CNIC).
  • Report Child Abuse Content: Dial 1121 to report related to child abuse.
  • Block Obnoxious or Unknown Communications: Dail #420# when you want to block disturbing calls and texts.

PTA uses these shortcodes to create better mobile service experiences that protect user data. These tools help protect users as they shape their unique communication gateway.
