The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 kicked off with a magnificent opening ceremony at Multan Cricket Stadium. The ceremony started of the highly anticipated competition and featured performances by some of Pakistanās most well-known musicians.
Faris Shafi, Shae Gill, and Asim Azhar performed at the opening ceremony, singing the PSL 8 anthem. The event was also blessed by powerful performances by Sahir Ali Bagga and Aima Baig. Aima Baig also performed the national anthem.
The PSL 8 opening ceremony was held in Multan for the first time in PSL history.
The opening match of the tournament will take place at 8 p.m. between the Lahore Qalandars and the Multan Sultans. The defending champions will play the PSL 7 runners-up, kicking off what is expected to be an action-packed and exciting season of cricket.
