Pakistan to Get First Bee Museum Soon

Haroon Rasheed and Chris Rasheed, owners and founders of ‘Bee Happy Raw Honey’ in California, United States (US), have made conserving bees and marketing raw honey their life’s work. Every year, they distribute all of their honey to friends, neighbors, and first responders.

Haroon and Pakistan-based billionaire Omer Ali Malik planned to create the ‘Serena Bee Museum’ in Pakistan in 2022, with Malik giving a significant piece of land at Neelishang, a popular mountain resort in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Malik, who shares Haroon’s worries about the environment, has stated a desire to establish a ‘bee museum’ to educate current and future generations about the environmental benefits of planting fruit trees and bee-friendly vegetation.

The museum’s original prototype has already been sent to Lahore, and its designs are nearly finished, with a groundbreaking ceremony slated for the end of this year.

The museum will serve as a bee sanctuary, as well as a place to educate people about bees and the necessity of their being, as well as a location to train new beekeepers and expose youngsters to the importance and joys of beekeeping.

Haroon plans to relocate the bee museum and refuge to the Californian counties of Solano/Sonoma in the future. This would be a location where people could learn about bees and the significance of their existence, as well as where future beekeepers might be taught.
