Pakistan Railways has planned to run 5 Eid-ul-Fitr special trains. Pakistan Railways has provided a 30% discount on Railway tickets for Eid travelers traveling for three days. Sir Syed Express, which runs from Rawalpindi to Karachi, has offered a 40% discount on prices for Eid.

For the first time in Pakistan, Pakistan Railways provided free service for elderly persons for the first three days of Eid Ul Fitr.
At the event, the Pakistan Railway has offered a large package for the senior people, with the 65-year-old residents and the 1st and 2nd days of Eid being allowed to ride in all categories of all trains for free.

Pakistan Railways has released a notification for Senior Citizen Eid Free Package, which will give free reservations and e-tickets on CNIC; however, they will produce their electronic id card throughout railway travel and exhibit the CNIC at the Railway stations, tickets will be supplied to women and men with no charge.
