The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has raised the fee for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test for the 2024 session.
MDCAT 2024 is a test that students sitting for medical and dental colleges in Pakistan for admission to MBBS and BDS courses sit for.
The test is an important constituent of admission to South Asian undergraduate medical and dental courses.
MDCAT is intended to assess the candidate’s problem-solving, critical thinking, knowledge of natural, behavioural, and social sciences, and essential subjects pertinent to medicine.
MDCAT 2024 New Fee Structure
As mentioned earlier, the council has raised the MDCAT 2024 fee by one-third; now, the fee is Rs 8,000, whereas the previous fee was Rs 6,000.
MDCAT Some media outlets claimed that more than 200,000 candidates planned to sit for the examination in 2024.

Registration for MDCAT has also been initiated, and the students can register through official online channels.
MDCAT Test Date
The new MDCAT 2024 is scheduled for September 22.
