Islamic Events DATE_YEAR—Islam is the largest religion in terms of believers or people. Many nations, such as Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, etc., have millions of Muslims. There are about 50 Islamic countries worldwide. Muslims seem to be in large numbers in non-Islamic countries. In addition, Islam is quickly rising worldwide, with many followers also rising.
The Islamic year starts with Muharram. However, on the 10th of Muharram, the” day of Ashura” is observed. Many major Islamic events occurred on this day, such as the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (رضي الله عنه) and his followers.

Shab e Barat is celebrated on the night of the 15th Shaban. The holiest night for Muslims is Shab e Qadar; Muslims perform prayer on taaq raats (21,23, 25, 27, 29) to receive the blessings of Allah. After Ramadan, Muslims celebrated Eid on the 1st of Shawwal.
In Zulhijja, Muslims offer Hajj and do Qurbani on Eid ul Adha to honor the sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim (عليه السلام) and his child Hazrat Ismaeel (عليه السلام). However, Hajj starts on the 8th of Zulhijja, and Arfa and Eid ul Adha occur on the 9th and 10th of Zulhijja.
