Stories are pictures and videos that users can share about moments of their lives on Snapchat. Is it then possible to see who has rewatched your stories?
The one great value of Stories is that you can tell people who viewed them. But many users have been wondering whether it’s possible to see who watched your Story and rewatched it.
Instead, Snapchat takes you behind the curtain and allows you to see how many of your friends have watched your Story and its total view count, but not who has rewatched it — that’s something you have to pony up extra for with Snapchat+’.
How to know who rewatched your Snapchat story
- Open the Snapchat app.
- Go to your Story.
- If you want to reveal detailed insights into the Story, swipe up on the Story and look for the eyes emoji.
- Right next to that number is one indicating the Rewatch count.
- When you tap on the emoji, you will see the names of your friends who have watched the story again.
The number is the number of friends who have viewed your Story, not the number of times the Story has been rewatched. That means Snapchat will indicate you have been rewatched by a friend but will not tell how many times a friend has rewatched your Story.
If you are a Snapchat+ subscriber, you can use the Rewatch Indicator. In Stories where someone has watched one or more (or if the Story has more than one view), you will see the eyes emoji.
It shows how many friends have rewatched Snaps you put on My Story, Private Stories, or Shared Stories.
