How to Craft Medicines in Black Myth Wukong
There are two types of Medicines in Black Myth: Wukong — Mortal and Celestial Medicine. Nevertheless, to make both of these medicine types, it is necessary to meet and complete the quest for the NPC known as “Xu Dog. ” Here is a brief guide on how to cook medicines in Black Myth Wukong.
1. Meet Xu Dog
If you want to create medicines in the game, you will have to complete Chapter 1 and then Chapter 2. Once in Chapter 2, you must keep going until you locate the Village Entrance Shrine in Sandgate Village. Now you waddle. Here, there is a side path that will lead you to a lower ground. After losing the Zombie Ranger, follow the path to the cave until you reach Xu Dog.
2) Defeat Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw
With great worry on Xu Dog’s face, he will introduce you to a frog that gobbles one of his formulas and then challenge him to a fight. Right beside Xu Dog: a vast pit in the ground and an enormous frog called — Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw. Talk with Xu Dog after defeating this boss, and players can synthesize medicines.
Black Myth Wukong: How to Get Celestial Medicines
The distinction can be made based on the fact that while taking Celestial Medicines, the changes are referred to as permanent, unlike Mortal Medicines. Of course, with Celestial Medicines, you can permanently increase maximum health, defences, mana, etc, for the character. To open this area, you must have defeated this Chapter’s main bosses – Tiger and Stone Vanguard.
Approach all the stone statues using the Sterness of Stone key and activate all the tiger statues using the Keenness of Tiger key to open up the locked areas. Thereafter there is the Tiger Temple Cellar or to the right of the Windseal gate to Xu Dog heading towards the Cellar Shrine.
If you pass the Windseal gate, then from the place where the Yellow Wind Sage is the boss, you will have to turn left to get to him.
This character and Xu Dog will meet again later in the game once you rescue the dog, after which the man will become an NPC who can be traded. As you talk to him, you can create the Celestial Medicines. Celestial Medicines utilize Mind Cores, which are unique drops which come from upper-tier monsters.
