Google has launched new mint color variants of its Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. The company had earlier teased that “something fresh is coming” on January 25th, hinting at the new color option.
Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are now available in four color options – Mint, Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain. The new Mint shade is described as a gentle, minty green tone that looks refreshing among the usual color choices in smartphones nowadays.
While the Pixel 8 comes in Mint, Hazel, Obsidian, and Rose color variants, the Pixel 8 Pro is offered in Mint, Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain shades. The specifications of the phones remain the same regardless of the color.
The new Mint variants of Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are available for purchase starting today in the US Google Store. They will also be available from other retailers soon. In Europe, the Mint color has already been on sale since yesterday.
In the UK, the Pixel 8 Pro in Mint is now available alongside the other three color options. Google’s latest Pixel phones have several AI-powered features like Circle to Search that enhance the overall user experience.
The launch of the Mint color variants provides more choice to users in terms of aesthetics without compromising the performance or software experience of Google’s latest flagship Pixel phones. With the new color, Google aims to attract more customers in an increasingly competitive smartphone market.
