On Monday, gold prices fell on the domestic market as the Pakistani rupee rose against the dollar following an IMF loan agreement.
According to figures from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of a tola of gold decreased by Rs8,800 to Rs207,200, while the price of a gram of 24 carat gold decreased by Rs7,544 to Rs177,641.
The price of gold jumped by $6 on the international market to close at $1,912 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained constant at Rs2,550 per tola and Rs2,16.21 per gram.
