The unusual union occurred in Nardiganj, a hamlet in India’s Bihar state. A married woman was found with her lover by her husband’s family and the residents of her village, according to media reports.
They chastised the woman’s boyfriend, who is a married guy with three children, and decided to isolate the two lovers. The woman’s husband stunned everyone with his gesture.
To everyone’s amazement, the husband brought his wife and her boyfriend to a nearby temple and married them. He insisted that he had no right to prevent his wife from marrying the guy she loves.
But why would he do such a thing? Apparently, the betrayed husband discovered his wife was in love with someone else only a few days after their marriage. Despite having two children and several attempts to persuade her to give up her partner, the woman refused to budge.
A video of the pair completing marriage ceremonies in front of a crowd has already gone viral. It’s unclear from the video whether the woman is sobbing out of humiliation or joy.
