To help inflation-weary people during the existing crisis, the Sindh government has approved early salary payments for all employees ahead of the approaching Eid ul Azha.
Salaries, including allowances and pensions, will be issued on June 23, one week before Eid ul Azha, which is expected to fall on June 29.
In a notification, the Sindh government’s finance department authorized all ministries under the provincial government to distribute wages on June 23 rather than July 1.
PMD had anticipated that the Zil Hajj moon will be visible on June 19, implying that Eid ul Azha would come on June 29. The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will make a final pronouncement concerning the moon sighting on June 19.
The Met Department predicts overcast weather throughout the last month of the Islamic year, with the Zill Hajj moon visible for more than an hour after sunset on June 19, with the following month likely to begin on June 20.
As people inquire about the amount of Eid holidays, it is worth noting that the cabinet division has already published a statement detailing the public and optional holidays for this year.
According to the announcement, there will be three days off for Eid ul Azha on June 29, 30, and July 1. Dates are dependent on the moon’s predicted appearance. Following the decision of the moon sighting committee, the federal government will publish a separate announcement for vacations.
