Linking Twitter to your Facebook personal account or company page connects the two social networking sites, allowing Twitter to update your Facebook page instantly. However, Facebook and Twitter are both very different media platforms and what is acceptable on Twitter isn’t always acceptable on Facebook. For example, your Twitter followers or friends may not enjoy an endless stream of tweets. Uninstall the Twitter application from your personal account or company page using Facebook’s app editing settings.
How to Uninstall Twitter App From Facebook
- Log in to your Facebook account and select a setting from the drop-down menu.
- To get to the Account Settings page, click “Account Settings”.
- Click “Apps” to see a list of apps that are connected to your account.
- Select the “X” icon next to the Twitter app. A prompt appears in the form of a pop-up.
- To confirm the deletion, click the “Remove” button.
