When you enable Assistive Touch on your iPhone, the Assistive Touch gesture menu appears above the home screen menu. If you find Assistive Touch confusing, you may turn it off in the device’s Settings menu and then reboot the iPhone to normal mode. If you don’t want to stop Assistive Touch, you can hide the Assistive Touch menu and continue to use the device in conventional mode while Assistive Touch is still active.
How to Turn off Assistive Touch on iPhone
- Tap the “Settings” icon on the iPhone’s home screen to open the Settings menu.
- Tap the “General” tab, then select “Accessibility” from the General menu. The menu Accessibility Settings appears.
- Select “Assistive Touch” from the menu. The Assistive Touch Settings window appears.
- Slide the slider from “On” to “Off” to turn off Assistive Touch.
